Since launching in 2018, The Good Plant Company has rapidly evolved. Ruscha has outgrown the original website she created for herself, which no longer reflects the professionalism and vibrancy of her growing business.
The Good Plant Company needed a new online home. Ruscha was looking for a clean and friendly website with a strong visual identity. She wanted to be able to keep the site updated easily by sharing regular case studies and news. The new website also needed capacity to adapt as The Good Plant Company continues to develop over the coming months and years.
Developing a strong visual layout and design
Bold immersive images of planting schemes created by The Good Plant Company inspired the bespoke layout of this striking website. Breaking standard templates, KSD adapted to the dimensions of the professional brand photography supplied to showcase the natural beauty of the plants without compromising website design.
Starting from The Good Plant Company logo, KSD selected a consistent colour and font palette. Soft pastel green and clean white compliment the vivid green that highlights each call to action throughout the site.
Creating credibility
Incorporating The Good Plant Company’s valuable portfolio of completed projects and happy clients was a priority for the new website. KSD brought this social proof to the forefront with case study templates that balance rich full-width images with SEO-focused content and testimonials.
Safeguarding the future
With a new Services page, KSD enabled The Good Plant Company to focus attention on their primary offer and process, but also introduce additional services including event floristry, workshops and Christmas tree rental.
Behind the scenes, KSD built in functionality to allow the introduction of a shop at a later phase of website development when the business is ready. This forward-thinking approach increases the lifetime of the website, saving time and future investment.
