Anagram Audio caters for two quite different groups of core customers and the new website needed to appeal to both. Those new to the world of Hi-Fi equipment look to Andy and his team for guidance and advice, while the experienced audio expert chooses Anagram Audio for the tailored solutions and high-quality equipment they provide. 

Andy wanted to integrate an e-commerce shop within the website which would highlight his exclusive brand partners. With a vast selection of products at wide-ranging price points, it was important to make this easy for customers to navigate. 

Highlighting the personality behind the brand

As a small, independent business, it’s Andy’s personal knowledge and enthusiasm that attracts customers of all types to Anagram Audio. KSD placed Andy at the forefront of the website design, from the tone of the homepage and personal story on the About page, to the image selection and intuitive navigation throughout the site. From the first click, both experienced and rookie customers feel guided by Andy towards the services and products they desire. 

Experiential shopping

KSD built a bespoke filtering system enabling customers to search by brand or category in addition to the standard Squarespace options. With a large number of items to display, we streamlined the process for adding, removing and editing products so that Anagram Audio would always be able to showcase the latest equipment available. 

Learning about the typical buyer journey from Andy’s initial KSD Discovery Questionnaire, we included both a ‘purchase’ and ‘enquire’ button on each product page so that customers can seek personal advice before investing in these luxury items. 

While the e-commerce function of the website was crucial, KSD balanced this aspect with showcasing the unique services Anagram Audio are renowned for.
