During the pandemic it became clear to Mabel Fox that they needed to elevate their online presence. At the time they had a physical shop but due to the pandemic that didn’t have the impact they’d hoped. Investing in a professionally designed website, including space to book workshops and the product shop, was a very necessary move. KSD moved Mabel Fox from the Wix platform to Squarespace. There were quite a few elements to feature on the same site – interior design services, workshop booking, the retail space and a blog. The primary objective was to make it easy for a prospective customer to navigate. KSD ensured call to actions were in the right place, and took customers on a simple user journey. All items in the shop were image and SEO optimised, and we created a simple online booking system for workshops. We reinforced interior design services with credibility testimonials, and added an image-led interior design gallery – showcasing their work beautifully. To ensure the website was straightforward for the team to maintain KSD developed template pages for anything they may need to create in the future.

The pandemic highlighted how essential it is that businesses have an online platform. The Mabel Fox website has had a huge impact on their business. At the end of the pandemic they closed down their physical shop and moved completely online. They couldn’t have done this before working with KSD.
