Judge in the 2022 DevelopHER awards

On 24th November 2022 the DevelopHER Awards ceremony took place in Norwich, at the Corn Exchange.

This year I had the pleasure of being a judge again in the “Eye for Design” category, along with 2 other judges.

I’ve been involved in the DevelopHER awards for the last couple of years, not only as a nominee but more recently I’ve jumped over to the other side and have been a judge. I was truly blown away this year by all the amazing females!

Whilst going through the nominees and carrying out research on each application, it dawned on me that year after year the talent just keeps getting better and better!

Unfortunately, I didn’t make the ceremony in person this year, which meant I didn’t get the pleasure of mingling and meeting all the talented women. It also meant I didn’t get to eat from the chocolate fountain to my heart's content or get a little crazy in the photo booth with my plus 1. Alas… “next time” if the opportunity arises again.

Sooo…huge congratulations to all the super-talented women that were nominated and of course well done to the winners announced on the night!

Here are a few throwback images from previous years!

What are the DevelopHER Awards?

The DevelopHER Awards is an annual not-for-profit awards ceremony recognising women who work in the technology sector in East Anglia.  The aim is to raise the profile of women in technology in East Anglia, creating role models to inspire the next generation to become developers, technicians, project managers, testers and digital experts.
